tamkonum is a vertical-video real estate and multi-category listing platform (https://tamkonum.com) operated by BM İNTERNET MAĞAZACILIK VE ELEKTRONİK TİCARET HİZMETLERİ LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ. These Community Guidelines apply to everyone who posts listings, shares videos, broadcasts live streams, sends messages, makes in-app voice calls, or schedules appointments on the platform.

1. Our Purpose

We built tamkonum to be a safe, honest, and respectful real estate community. We want this to be a place where real properties, real people, and real information come together. These guidelines provide common ground so that everyone can act with confidence as a buyer, seller, tenant, landlord, or someone simply exploring.

tamkonum is a hosting provider. The listing owner is responsible for the content of their listings. Our role is to keep this community honest and safe.

2. Listing Honesty

Listings are the heart of our community. When you create a listing:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information. Price, square meters, number of rooms, location, and all other details must reflect reality.
  • Use real and current images/video. The photos and videos you share must genuinely belong to the property you are listing and must be current. Using images of another property, images taken from the internet, or misleading visuals is prohibited.
  • State the location correctly. Show the property's true location; do not provide false or deliberately misleading location information.
  • Only list properties you are authorized to list. You must be the owner, authorized representative, or duly authorized agent of the property you are listing.

Misleading, fake, untrue, or duplicate listings (the same property posted repeatedly) are prohibited.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on the platform:

  • Fraud, deception, and any kind of deceptive practice
  • Spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or repetitive promotion
  • Misleading pricing (e.g. showing an unrealistically low price to attract attention)
  • Hate speech, harassment, threats, and insults
  • Discrimination on the basis of race, religion, language, gender, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, disability, or similar grounds
  • Obscene, inappropriate, or sexual content
  • Content that contains, glorifies, or incites violence
  • Promotion or sale of illegal products or services
  • Infringement of copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights
  • Sharing or distributing someone else's personal data without consent
  • Impersonating another person (identity impersonation) or acting on behalf of an organization/business without authorization

4. Live Stream and Chat Courtesy

Live streams are a powerful way to explore properties in real time. When broadcasting and joining the chat:

  • Use respectful language. Insults, harassment, threats, and hate speech are also prohibited in live streams and chat.
  • Respect privacy. Do not reveal the identities of third parties who appear on camera during a stream (neighbors, tenants, employees, passersby) without their consent; do not show private areas without permission.
  • Do not mislead. Information given during a stream is also subject to the listing honesty rules.
  • Do not advertise without permission. Promotion of off-platform products/services or misleading redirections is prohibited.

5. In-App Communication

The platform offers messaging, in-app voice calls, and appointment scheduling features. Misusing these channels is prohibited: spam, harassment, threats, attempted fraud, unsolicited promotion, or disturbing repetitive contact are not acceptable.

For the purposes of service quality, safety, and dispute resolution, in-app voice calls may be recorded. By using these features, you acknowledge this reminder. Details regarding the storage and processing of recordings are set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Respect for Personal Data and Privacy

Respect the personal data and privacy of other users. Collecting, sharing, or distributing phone numbers, addresses, identity information, or other personal data without the consent of the relevant person is prohibited. Use any contact information you obtain on the platform only within the scope of the relevant transaction and in good faith.

7. Enforcement

In the event of a breach of these guidelines, depending on the nature and severity of the breach, we may apply the following measures:

  • Warning
  • Removal of content (listing, video, message, etc.)
  • Restriction of certain features
  • Temporary suspension of the account
  • Closure of the account

In cases of serious breaches (e.g. fraud, harassment, illegal content) or repeated breaches, your account may be closed directly without any intermediate measure.

8. Complaints and Appeals

If you encounter content or conduct that violates these guidelines, you can report it to us at iletisim@tamkonum.com. We will review your report as soon as possible.

Reports concerning unlawful content are assessed under the "notice-and-takedown" procedure within the scope of Law No. 5651. If you wish to appeal a measure taken against you, you may again apply via iletisim@tamkonum.com with your reasons; your appeal will be evaluated and you will receive a response.
